Canadian National Championships – 100 Years of Kendo in Canada

On July 2nd 2011 Vancouver, British Columbia, will host the the Canadian National Championships. These championships bring together every dojo across Canada only once every three years. While the individual competitions are only open to Canadian citizens, the team events are open to all Canadian residence.

This tournament is an excellent test for any kenshi and any dojo, but moreover it is perfect opportunity to test your kendo and your dojo! Manitoba Kendo Club members are highly encouraged to attend this event and should speak to instructors regarding participation. All levels and divisions will be represented at this tournament. Following the taikai, their will be a banquet to celebrate 100 years of Kendo in Canada.

Hotel bookings and banquet reservations must be made by Monday May 16th 2011. Please decide a.s.a.p. if you are attending this tournament.
