Saskatoon Seminar

Saskatoon Kendo Club will be having its annual seminar, tournament , and grading on February 27th – March 1st 2015.This years seminar will once again be hosted by Hayashi Sensei 7th dan of University of Victoria Kendo Club and Team Canada women’s coach.
For those returning to Saskatoon as well as MKC members joining this event for the first time, here is the following tentative plan. **Please note that plans may change in order to save money on travel.
The Manitoba Kendo Club intends on renting a bus (as it has in the past). The cost of the bus is to be announced, however this event is an MKC sponsored event and participants with more than 1 year kendo, and who have memberships in good standing qualify for a maximum of $200 rebate on their travel.
Hotel $120 per night (divided between 2 people, $60 per night each person. We will stay for 2 nights. (payable at the hotel on checkout)
Seminar fees are $75 which includes Firday nights practice, Saturdays seminar, Saturdays lunch as well as the afternoons Tournament registration. (payable on the day of bus departure to Ken Zelinsky)
Evening supper is $20/25. (Payable with Seminar fees)
Grading fees if applicable differ for each individual and can be found HERE. (Payable online to the CKF)
Deposits for the bus are being accepted now and are only being accepted until January 11th 2015. If you have not made a deposit before this day your spot on the bus is not guaranteed. With that said, the earliest opportunity you have to pay your deposit is encouraged to help organizers finalize costs. All deposits are to go to Ken Zelinsky who will be in charge of collections on the treasurers behalf.
