Welcome to the Manitoba Kendo Club

The Manitoba Kendo Club is one of the oldest kendo dojo in Canada, practicing and promoting kendo for over 50 years.

Kendo, the ‘way of the sword’, is the Japanese martial art which evolved from the Samurai way of life and their use of the Katana, the Japanese sword.

‘Kendo is a way to discipline the human character through the application of the principles of the Katana’  (1975-All Japan Kendo Federation)
